Hi. I'm an editorial and fine art photographer with a varied background in the industry. Like many I started out by shooting landscapes. I had just bought my first SLR camera in the late 90's and went on a 4 month trip through South America with my brother, there is nothing like a hike on the Inca Trail in Peru to inspire you to start paying attention to your surroundings photographically. I came home from that trip determined to make photography my life.

I cut my teeth in the photo industry as a fashion and product photographer at Shopbop.com in Madison, WI. Now I focus on people and how they interact with their environment, whether it be behind the scenes photography on a major video production, zip lining through the treetop canopies, cheesemakers, farmers, corporate portraiture and events, music and concert photography and wedding coverage.

I offer drone video and photo services also. It's a fascinating perspective to be able to fly over the immediate surroundings of our world, whether it's aerial inspection services, real estate fly-overs or general coverage to add another dimension to the standard photographic approach.

I love to travel and document places I've visited. I've had the good fortune to see quite a few world cultures and have even lived on three continents. This is the best gift I could have ever been given. I'm fascinated by people and how they interact with their surroundings and define the culture into which they integrate.

Mark Twain once said, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."

I couldn't agree more.
